Taste of Life

Jamie has discovered a wonderful ability to put things in his mouth. Little Bear, his blankets, his hand, our elbows--if he can grab it, it's going in his mouth. Lately, he's grabbing his feet. I'm sure we'll see those in his mouth shortly.

BBQ Kings

Jay and Jamie show off Jamie's Father's Day gift to Jay: matching chef's hats. (They also have aprons.)

Grandmoma leaves for Nashville today. She and Jamie will miss each other very much. The three of us really appreciate her visit.

All Sorts of Stuff

What a couple of weeks we've had. . .

First, Jamie completely outgrew his Moses Basket. Okay, he really did this about three weeks ago, but we hadn't had a chance to get a new bed. He's now in a co-sleeper that (we hope) will serve for the rest of the summer.

Speaking of summer, we're in Davidson now at our rented house. It's old, and the college kids who live here didn't leave it very clean, but it will do.

Second piece of news: Jamie turned three months old, so his daddy insisted that Jamie graduate to "big boy" passies. They are much more firm than Jamie's newborn pacifiers, and Jamie doesn't like them nearly as much. (We still use "baby" passies at night.)

Third, Jamie's thrush is gone. Yay!

Fourth, we are sporadically getting seven hours of sleep consecutively. More Yay!

We're getting ready to take a short walk to the whole foods market. When we get back, I'll try to post some pictures.
